Day 194 of a Photo a Day: The Money Tree

I spent the day making money beside a money tree at 940 Variety. I spent my time there making pretty chalkboard art, playing the ukulele and the melodica, drawing, talking to lovely customers, spinning groovy records, and feeling sunny and bright. Money doesn't grow on trees--this I know very well. Happiness grows though; slowly and unpredictably. Sometimes it wilts and sometimes you have to prune it and sometimes it might seem like it's going to die. But it keeps growing. And if it doesn't we plant more seeds. Right now, my tree is growing strong. I am grateful.
