SHANNON MURRAY

Shannon Murray is a graduate of Carleton University’s Environmental Studies program and has been practicing photography for over 15 years. In 2016, she completed Fleming College’s post graduate program in Environmental Visual Communications in partnership with the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Ontario. From there, her love of storytelling through visual and written communications only grew.

Born in Canada's capital, Shannon moved back to Ottawa in 2018 to pursue a life in which she could tell peoples' stories and create beautiful, lasting visual representations of their most important days, events, and messages. She is a passionate videographer, photographer, designer, writer, motion graphics artist, cyclist, environmental advocate, musician, performer, yoga enthusiast and joker.

Through Focus Pocus Media, she aims to use compelling storytelling to bring people back to the moments that matter most to them and take them to places they've never been before.
