Day 189 of a Photo a Day: Family by Blood and by Choice

These boys. These guys. These two are family. They're not only family because I'm Murray'd to Don Rankin and they're his cousins, but also because I choose them. I love these two and I would go out of my way to make their days easier, better, or happier.

Chris is a hilarious goof with such a humongous heart it's impossible to put it into words. Chris has made me so happy so many times because he doesn't miss kindnesses and never fails to acknowledge them. He's always grateful and is also super gracious himself. He's also really good at making people smile and laugh, even when they're feeling down. Thanks for all of the times you've done that for me.

Alex is a cutie beyond words and is often too nice and easy to get along with to comprehend. I essentially lived with Alex for a while, and he always noticed when I was sad and tried to cheer me up and listen if I needed to talk. Like his brother, he's never ungrateful and is a pretty silly guy who's good at making people laugh and smile. He charms the pants off of weirdos and his friends alike. I'm so happy I get to know you!

There's a reason that these two have such a strong group of friends who would probably all kick somebody in the knees if they were trying to hurt either of them: they're really good guys. I love you both, you beautiful Shackleboys. Thanks for being a part of my life.
