Day 168 of a Photo a Day: Playing La Plante

Teen Runnings (pictured here) was hella cool and opened the night tonight. The 5-member pop band from Tokyo was just a single member tonight, playing some guitar and dishing out some superbly fun vocals. I had a fantastic time dancing my butt off to their music and would love to see another show in the future...maybe even in Tokyo with the full band!
ggpeach was up next and is an awesome, at times, intense and beautiful, at times dreamy and sway-y band of babes led by Georgia Peach. Too much beauty for one stage.
Next up was Valois! You know how we do. Glammy and dramatic, we definitely played up the fun and the performative for this show decked out in our gold and black and all set with our stage choreography. Montreal absolutely killed it dancing along with us to some of our newest tracks.
Finally, there was Rose Bush. My bff Megan Miller and her fairly new band-mates had La Plante in a dancey, sweaty awe with their unapologetic babe-punk. Four beautiful ladies singing as badassedly as they feel, killing it on their respective instruments, and dancing up a storm is a wonderful sight to behold.
Thanks for an amazing show, everyone, and until the next, I send you all kisses.
