Ugh. I know that almost all of my posts are gushing and emotional love-letters to those photographed or those who I spent time with on the post's given day, but god do I love my family. Every day I'm baffled at how amazing each and every one of them is. Ali, Colin, Megan, Kev, Stevie, Eric, and of course Joshy...I've seen you each grow from a hilarious and brilliant little being to a beautiful and baffling big person. When we're all together, things just seem to make sense. You are and will always be my people, no matter where I am in this world. For Christmas this year, my parents gave me an external flash for my camera. I tested it out on these goons.

This was a different kind of Christmas with our caring and kind uncle Dave absent, but our minds were all on our happy memories of him from holidays past, and the new memories that he'd be so proud of us for making in our futures. We miss you Dave, but we felt you there this Christmas and our love for each other shone brightly thanks to you.
