Frost crystallizes above and below us.

I kiss my grandmother with tears in her eyes.

I hug my grandfather for longer than I can remember having ever done before.

A shrimp ring comes, goes, and comes again.

People keep bringing food.

Josh runs to get the mail.

I try to keep things light.

Flowers arrive for my mom.

Hey, this is almost like a poem.

I've heard better, though.
