Day 18 of a Photo a Day: The Birds

I love to sit on the windowsill and observe these birds. I've always liked watching the behaviour of birds, because to me, they behave so gracefully. They groom themselves with their beaks! They flutter about! Even when they fight with each other, there is something so beautiful about their movements. So many people are fascinated by birds. Maybe it's because we wish we could fly, too, or perhaps it's a longing for a simpler, subsistence-based existence. Whatever it is, they've got it...and I love it.
