Day 8 of a Photo a Day: Yolandi and The Dude

Have you ever heard a song by the South African band Die Antwoord? Have you ever fallen in love with a little furry dude? My lovely friend Ingrid recently cut her hair and put together the appropriate swag to emulate one of her favourite rat-lovers, Die Antwoord's Yolandi Visser. All she needed was a little buddy and a person with a camera. And there we have this photoshoot.

I feel extremely lucky to have met Dudley the rat this past summer. I feel privileged for the days that I spent feeling miserable, working tirelessly on video editing, and the moments during those days that I got to connect with this dude. I felt instantly linked to him when he looked at me--rats are smart as heck--and the change in perspective that this little man caused was always truly awesome. I will miss you Dudley. Thanks for being the best rat I've ever known..and a freaking badass at photoshoots just like your friend Ingrid.
