Day 7 of a Photo a Day: Dirty Talk

I descended into a basement where light and dark met so beautifully. In the stead of fluorescence were candles. My friend Kodai stood in the centre of the room as Sam, Kenneth and Myla sound-checked.
It was an amazing night. The music was incredible. The mystically dank beats of Devecseri kicked the dancing off, followed by Aron Thealien who really is out of this world. Maybe he really is an alien. After these two solo artists performed, the audience was treated to Sister Strange. Holy. Shit. Can this band play everywhere, please? Mind blowingly passionate and talented, flavours of soul, funk, rock and jazz exploded in the most energetic and entertaining performance I had seen in years.
Finally, my friends took the stage. Doesn't Matter always kills it with their unmatchable animation and ENERGY, and they did not disappoint tonight. From Kenneth bouncing around the audience, to some incredible existential food-for-thought, to bringing both Sho and I onto the stage to sing a verse or chorus or two, Doesn't Matter is so electrically interactive that it's hard not to feel like part of their family.
A fantastic show and some fantastic friends. I can't wait for the next one.
